For four weeks, I worked with the community of Kisii, Kenya, on the Kisii Konya Oroiboro Project (KIKOP). KIKOP is a community-based program dedicated to helping the children of Kisii County. I’m so grateful for the chance to be part of this vibrant community and contribute to their health and well-being. I absolutely love how close-knit the community in Kisii is. The people here truly embody the spirit of cooperation, always working together to build community capacity and improve their surroundings. I’m deeply impressed by everyone’s dedication and unity, and I have great respect for their commitment. This experience has also been a fantastic learning opportunity for me. Through my work with KIKOP, I’ve gained valuable skills in public health, like grant writing and community engagement, which will definitely benefit me in the future.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Curamericas Global for giving me this opportunity that I’ll cherish for years to come.
