Meet our collaborator from AHF

~Meet Peninah Mauda, the AHF Prevention Program Coordinator~

“When it comes to young people, […] it needs collective effort. […] It calls for all of us to put our efforts together to bring up a young, healthy generation.”

Peninah Mauda is the Prevention Program Coordinator at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) in Kenya. As a clinical officer, she brings extensive experience in HIV treatment, prevention, and advocacy. She represents AHF, which is one of KIKOP’s partners, collaborating on their grassroots initiatives to provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education to young people in underserved areas, penetrating efforts into the community. Peninah coordinates support groups to reduce HIV transmission and support teen mothers in delaying subsequent pregnancies and returning to school. She also empowers young mothers to start small businesses for economic stability. Peninah is dedicated to creating supportive environments for youth, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to lead healthy lives. She aims to expand impact through KIKOP, enhancing community health and well-being across Kenya. She looks forward to future collaborations that will further KIKOP's mission of health advocacy and education.
